Another opening, another show . . .

Well, it is open, it ran with very few problems, and we didn't have to deal with smoke & fumes from an exploding car!

Tonights show is again at 8pm SHARP! There really is no excuse to be late. Or to miss it, {unless your car blew up}
REVISION: We had more than a car blow up, we had a building/grassfire. But it was across the river, so we did not have to deal with the smog of it all.

Hopefully we can pack this thing & then move on to plays about goats.

I will leave it at that, aside from stating it is a damn solid script, I'm not going to spoil it for all of you . . . . Just yet.

Take care, & check back often.

Well 17 hours until the building goes up.

OK! We are finally into opening day!

House opens @ 7:30, with showtime @ 8pm SHARP. Once the doors close that is it.
Due to the smallness & intimate surroundings of producing the show at the Art Barn Gallery:

NO ADMISSION
AFTER THE START OF
THE PERFORMANCE!

So make sure to get to the Horse Barn down at Falls Park early so to get in & get a seat. We promise that there will be no exploding cars in the parking lot this time! {we hope}.

OHH, BY THE WAY . . . DO NOT WEAR AN ORANGE JUMPSUIT TO THE SHOW! We just had a report that there is an escaped convict from the state pen on the loose. And since the production is about seven blocks away, we urge caution.

So, come on down if you dare. Tonight & tomorrow @ 8PM

Why light sometimes make sound

OK, We are on the home stretch of opening the 2nd show of New Moon Theatre. Nerves are tense, and it is showing at times during rehersals with flubbed lines, total space outs by "Oh yeah I'm in this scene. . . .", and other misc. crap that goes on with fledglings doing fledgling things.

So, almost 10 hours later, I have been "re-":
. engineering
. mixing
. blending
the living crap out of a bunch of pieces of music on my scratch sheet last night, adding more to the 'alt list' to rotate out with what I had last night. Oh by the way I did not mention that last night was the first time I saw the show in its "final" incarnation.

And as time goes on we should have a show, come this weekend.

Or 47 people enjoying a fantastic soundtrack on a really low budget sound system. And a troupe of theatre people enjoying creamed corn & peas. I have dibs of the corned beef, & spam.

A guy has to be able to barter rental for equipment somehow.

And my legs are not that great. ;-}>
